SendVibes (“we”, “us”) lets you share links to things you love — movies, music, books, and places — and discover what others are into. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have, including how to delete your account and data from inside the app.
We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not use the iOS Advertising Identifier.
To operate core features (feed, search, comments, messages, follows, notifications), to keep the service safe (moderation and abuse prevention), and to maintain and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.
We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, serverless functions) to run the app, and Expo’s push service to deliver notifications. Link previews and catalog data are enriched server-side using providers including TMDB (film & TV), Apple/iTunes and Deezer (music previews), Google Books and Open Library (books), and Google (places). These providers process data on our behalf to deliver their part of the service.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, posts, comments, messages, favorites, reposts, saved items, follows, push tokens, and your authentication record. Deletion is permanent and completed within 30 days; some records may be retained only where required by law. If you signed in with Apple, deletion also revokes the associated sign-in token. You can also request deletion by emailing sendvibes.info@gmail.com.
You control your display name, avatar, bio, post visibility (everyone, followers, or nobody), who can message you, and notification preferences. You can report content and block users from within the app. You can revoke Apple sign-in access in your Apple ID settings.
SendVibes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
